Thoughts are the most powerful sources of energy that we move on a continual basis in our bodies. They can move us forward, hold us still in fear or keep us in the past.

It is only a thought…

We often feel stuck with our thoughts, unable to move beyond the rolling script that plays over and over in our minds. They remind us of our failures, insecurities, our unmanageable “to do list”, and all of those other things that seem virtually impossible for us to accomplish in our life.

It is only a thought…

We can change a thought at any time we choose…

I am often told “you are the happiest person I know”. At first this confounded me. Me, happy? What were people seeing on the outside that I was not recognizing on the inside? I realized that the subtle changes I was making to my internal thoughts were having an outward appearance to those around me. When I took a moment to let those words sink into my body, acknowledging them to be true I realized I am really happy. I choose to have happy thoughts even in the most stressful situations. There is always something to learn about myself and I have the power to think positively about the situation or to get stuck in the “what if’s”.

Change happens in small ways every day, with every choice, every smile, every wink at yourself in the mirror.

I started by asking myself “What is the worst case scenario”? When I realized that no matter what I still had what I cherished the most, myself, my kids/grand-kids and Bob then I could handle any situation in front of me happily.

This is a daily practice, sometimes even a moment by moment practice. But with each choice I make to have positive thoughts the negative ones get fewer and fewer.

Conscious Empowerment is all about taking those thoughts, feeling them in yourself and acknowledging that you hold the power to your life!
